The Competition 1600 pellet grill from the Competition Series from Pit Boss is characterized by a solid steel construction and benefits from the free of charge cast iron cookware set from Pit Boss, a very wide working temperature range (62 °C – 537 °C) and a digital control system that allows precise and convenient temperature adjustment, control that can be exercised through the smartphone application and connected to the grill via WiFi.

The Competition 1600 pellet grill allows slow cooking (slow baking at low temperatures like 62 °C – 130 °C) but also high-temperature searing through the FlameBroiler (slot system incorporated in the heat deflector) recommended for searing beef steaks at temperatures of 500 °C.

The Competition 1600 Pit Boss pellet grill stands out from other models of grills and smokers from the Pit Boss series by the rolling lid, which slides to the rear on the raised grill pan. This way the cooking area remains protected from the wind, the entire grill requires less space and last but not least, the lid rolling system offers more comfort.
