HORL 3 knife sharpener brings more flexibility for individual daily kitchen needs. HORL 3 is a rolling sharpener, versatile, where changing discs is a matter of ... click – clack. The HORL Quick Lock system allows for easy and quick changing of discs or finishing. The magnet holder for knives allows their attachment to grinding angles of 15° for Japanese knives and Damascus knives or 20° for European knives. Unlike previous models of HORL 2, the new HORL 3 generation comes with a sea-grit disc, with up to +80% of the previous disc's failure. In the process of sharpening knives a very important role is played by the stability of the knife, involving the blade and the whole system. Box fixing devices are incorporated with new magnetic grips, much stronger ( + 70% compared to the previous generation). The assembly technology and built-in ball bearings create a play-free, steady rolling feeling. With the HORL® Diamond Standard disc, high-quality results are possible in a short time, without the need for the use of other aids. The industrial diamonds used in the manufacture of the HORL® Diamond Standard disc are suitable for all cutting tools of any hardness and ensure efficient, accurate results. In addition, they produce a sharpening pattern that is comparable to the “factory” sharpening of a high-quality German kitchen knife. If used correctly, the standard HORL® diamond grinding disc should not be displaced. Industrial diamonds are considered one of the most durable and abrasive efficient available on the market. Single crystal diamonds are harder than any cutting metal. Using a galvanic process, approximately 55% of HORL® Diamond Standard diamonds are set in a nickel bed. The initial rough surface becomes more refined after the first grinding operations and reaches working condition that will remain the same from that point on. After using the standard HORL® diamond grinding disc, the ceramic grinding disc further refines the grinding result. Integrated grooves ensure a clean cutting edge and eliminate dust resulting from grinding. The combination of strong neodymium magnets and the HORL® S-Pad allows firm attachment of the hearing aid case. Given the anti-fouling effect of the S-Pad, even knives with small (narrow) blades can be sharpened consistently if the release device is positioned at the correct height.
