This charcoal grill from Napoleon has a premium quality containing a heavy gauge steel charcoal grate that holds the charcoal above the bottom of the bowl of the grill in order to create perfect airflow and  to allow the ash to fall to the bottom, directly into the heavy gauge removable ash catcher for easy cleanup. The carcoal grill PRO22K has also a heat diffuser which sits in the center of the charcoal grate haveing the main purpose of radiating the generated heat by the charcoal up into the chamber. This makes for easier heat management all around.
