For this purpose, several layers of pine wood are impregnated with resin, pressed together and then cut into shape. The handle, made of prepared wood, can be washed in the dishwasher and is almost insensitive to high temperatures. Even after frequent use, the barbecue cutlery set still looks like new.

More than 30 years ago, the manufacture of machine-washable wooden handles was developed using a special production process. The FSC® certified wood is impregnated with resin in thin layers, cut to size and polished. This seals the wood layers tightly so that moisture cannot penetrate.
