Blazinglas® has a high-temperature-resistant ceramic glass from Schott and is placed above the infrared ceramic burner using an adjustable metal frame instead of a grid. What's special? Blazinglas® glass is permeable to infrared radiation and at the same time prevents liquids & fats from dripping onto the ceramic burner. So you benefit from all the outstanding advantages of an infrared burner, without disturbing factors such as burning fat or flame formation.

How do I clean the infrared Blazinglas for gas grill HEAT Outdoorchef:

For quick and easy cleaning, there is a very simple trick to clean hot glass again without rubbing. To loosen the encrustations, the glass should be immersed in ice-cold water while it is still hot. The thermal shock causes the encrustations to break off in small micro-explosions on the glass and can then be easily removed with dishwashing liquid and a kitchen sponge. The special SCHOTT Blazinglas® glass can easily withstand the thermal shock and will not break! This cleaning method is particularly gentle on the glass and prevents scratches caused by abrasive cleaning utensils.
